What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a bio-remodeling treatment designed to rejuvenate and restructure the skin using high-concentration Hyaluronic Acid (HA). It focuses on stimulating new collagen production. As skin ages, collagen levels decrease, causing looseness, loss of elasticity, wrinkles, and sagging. Profhilo works to stimulate and repair various skin cells, especially fibroblasts, which are responsible for producing collagen.

How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo contains Hyaluronic Acid that has undergone a patented NAHYCO® technology process. This process uses controlled thermal energy to bind two molecular weights of HA into a unique Hybrid Cooperative Complex (HCC), giving it the highest HA concentration on the market while remaining well-dispersed, liquid, and non-lumpy. Unlike cross-linked HA fillers, which are not designed to stimulate collagen, Profhilo revives and activates various skin cells:

Keratinocytes – Located in the epidermis, these cells promote skin cell turnover, resulting in brighter and more radiant skin.
Fibroblasts – Found in the dermis, these cells produce collagen and elastin fibers, improving skin elasticity and strength.
Adipocytes – Located in the subcutaneous layer, these cells increase fat cell volume, giving a fuller, youthful “baby fat” appearance.
