PICO Laser
A new innovation that delivers laser energy at a speed of 1 trillionth of a second. It treats melasma and destroys pigment deep within the skin without generating heat. This results in smoother, brighter skin quickly and without the risk of burns.
WHAT IS PICOSECOND TECHNOLOGY?
This is a revolutionary technology in the field of light energy. It marks a significant advancement in laser energy delivery by shifting from the traditional heat-based approach to a new method called “PICOSECOND TECHNOLOGY.” This technology delivers laser pulses at an ultra-fast speed of one trillionth of a second (PICOSECOND = ONE TRILLIONTH OF A SECOND), compared to the previous best technology at one billionth of a second (NANOSECOND = ONE BILLIONTH OF A SECOND).
The speed of PICOSECOND produces a dramatic transformation in laser function, creating a phenomenon called PHOTOACOUSTIC, where energy is absorbed and dispersed as pressure waves without causing thermal damage to surrounding tissue.
Not only does it break down pigmentation, but it also stimulates collagen production, resulting in smoother skin and reduced wrinkles.
Moreover, the ultra-high-frequency laser energy creates tiny pressure forces at the nanoscale, dispersing throughout the skin and reaching deep collagen layers. This leads to the production of large amounts of new collagen and elastin. As a result, not only do melasma, freckles, and dark spots fade, but the skin also becomes firmer, smoother, more radiant, and fine lines are reduced—all at the same time.

How to care for your skin after the PICO PROGRAM?
- After the treatment, if you feel a burning sensation, cold compresses should be applied until the heat subsides.
- It is recommended to apply moisturizer and sunscreen with SPF 50.
- Avoid strong sunlight or outdoor activities for at least 2 weeks after the treatment.
- If scabs appear in the treated area, apply moisturizing cream to help soften them so they fall off more easily. Do not pick or scratch at the scabs.
Post PICO PROGRAM Care Instructions
- After treatment, the skin may feel warm; apply a cold compress until the burning sensation subsides.
- It is recommended to apply moisturizer and sunscreen with SPF 50 regularly.
- Avoid direct sunlight or outdoor activities for at least 2 weeks after the procedure.
- If scabs appear in the treated area, apply moisturizer to increase hydration. This will help the scabs fall off more easily. Do not pick or scratch at the scabs.
FAQ
Does the PICO PROGRAM hurt?
During the treatment, you will feel only a mild warmth and a slight snapping sensation, especially in areas with high pigment density.
How often should you do Pico treatments?
The number of sessions depends on the condition being treated and a specialist’s assessment. Typically, sessions for skin tone correction and collagen stimulation should be spaced 2–4 weeks apart. For tattoo removal or deep pigmentation (like birthmarks or dermal melasma), intervals of 4–6 weeks are recommended. Results are faster and clearer compared to traditional laser technologies.
