These shattered pigment particles are then naturally <strong>eliminated by the body through the lymphatic system<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_Medlite_remove_tattoos_of_all_colors\"><\/span><strong>Can Medlite remove tattoos of all colors?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Today\u2019s lasers can remove tattoos in many colors, but the ease of removal depends on the tattoo color and the type of ink used. Yellow, green, and blue inks are more difficult to remove, while red and black are easier. The laser removes pigment in the upper skin layer first, while deeper ink in the dermis will require additional treatments. The skin also needs time to regenerate and flush out broken pigment, so treatments are spaced 6\u20138 weeks apart. A second session is usually done 6 months after the first. Applying medication can help the pigmentation fade more quickly. The number of sessions depends on the individual\u2019s response and will be evaluated by the doctor after 6 months to determine if additional treatment is needed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_does_Medlite_laser_treatment_feel_like\"><\/span><strong>What does Medlite laser treatment feel like?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before treatment, numbing cream is applied for about 1 hour. During treatment, the patient may feel some stinging or burning in certain areas, and slight bleeding may occur on the treated skin. Because the treated area is an open wound, it is necessary to apply antibiotic ointment and cover with gauze on the first day.
